Non Thai
Au applicants accepted for admissions are provided
an Acceptance Letter which is mainly used to
apply for a Non-Immigrant Visa at any Royal
Thai Embassy / Consulate. This same letter also
may be useful in arranging finances and other
matters necessary for the pursuit of studies
at Au.
After a student arrives at the University, the
office of the Registrar provides a service to
students which includes:
Visa
extensions for full-time students who carry
a minimum of 12 credits per semester.
Students must apply for the Visa extension at
least 3 weeks before the expiration of their
current visa. A Visa extension costs 700 Baht
and is available for a 6-12 months period. Applicants
must submit a copy of a current semester registration
receipt showing a minimum of 12 paid credits
as part of the application.
Re-entry
Permits for brief travels abroad in order to
retain current visa. If a student leaves
Thailand without a re-entry permit, the student’s
visa will be invalidated. A re-entry permit
costs 500 Baht for a single re-entry and 1,000
Baht for multiple re-entry. Re-entry permits
must be applied for by at least three weeks
before departure.
