Orientation Activities

Staff of each faculty formally gives new student orientation very early in the semester. The schedule for orientation is announced within the faculty and at central information kiosks. In these orientation meetings, students are informed of policies and goals of the departments, familiarized with the facilities and introduced to faculty members. The purpose of the orientation is to fully inform students of what to expect while studying within the faculty and to learn what is expected of them in return.

A less formal orientation is given to new international students as and when they arrive on campus. The International Center staff provide this orientation and its purpose is to help students adjust to their new surroundings, the culture of Thailand and become acquainted with where to find assistance on many subjects.
