Group health insurance is provided by the Muang Thai Life Assurance Co., Ltd. And is available to students. All full-time regular international students of Assumption University, aged between 15-60 years and are actively enrolled on the effective date of the plan shall be eligible to participate. Full-time students not actively enrolled in class on the effective date of the plan shall become eligible for the participation on the first day of the month following the date of class commencement.

The insurance includes in-patient and out-patient benefits. Benefits include room and board, general hospital expenses, surgical fees, doctor’s visits, emergency treatment and specialist consultation when the patient is hospitalized. There are maximum limits for each claim category, but in general, the insurance covers the majority if not all the costs of most requirements for hospitalization.
